Tom Cruise Takes on Role of 80's Rock Idol in The Rock of Age Motion Picture

The Rock of Ages: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is set to be released on June 15th featuring Tom Cruise as "Stacee Jaxx", a larger-than-life, arena rocking champ. Shirtless, tattooed Cruise will belt out Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive," Def Leppard's hit "Pour Some Sugar On Me," and Gun's and Roses anthem "Paradise City". Cruise also performs duets with Julianne Hough on the Scorpian's "Rock You Like A Hurricane". In fact, the film's cast, Diago Boeta, Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Joes, Malin Akerman, and Mary J. Blige will perform 80's hits by Journey, Foreigner, Scorpians,Poison, Night Ranger, Whitesnake, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Twisted Sister, and many more!

Riverfest Announces 2012 Line-up

Riverfest Arkansas is proud to announce their 2012 line-up. Headline acts for this year include featured artist Lynyrd Skynyrd, scheduled for Saturday May 26, and Joe Walsh, scheduled for Sunday May 27.  In addition to great music and food Riverfest will feature other attractions including the 35th Annual Wine-Tasting Party, the Rock-n-Stroll 5k Fun Run, the Kidzone, and Merchant Row! Bret Michaels Names Guests For New Solo Album

Bret Michaels has lined up a whole string of top names to guest on his new solo album – which contains re-recordings of two classic Poison songs.

Called Get Your Rock On, the album is due out in the summer. Michaels has redone two Poison tracks, with a little help from his friends. Both Ace Frehley and Michael Anthony play on Nothin’ But A Good Time, while Every Rose Has Its Thorn features Joe Perry and Bon Jovi bassist Hugh McDonald. Country legend Loretta Lynn duets with Michaels on the latter.

There’s also a cover of Sweet Home Alabama with the Skynyrd pair of Gary Rossington and Rickey Medlocke, while both Vinnie Paul and Jimmy Buffet also appear on the release.

CASA's 1st Annual 5K Run and 1 Mile Run/Fun Walk

CASA's 1st annual 5K Run and 1 mile Run/Fun Walk will be held on June 9th at Spring Park in Searcy. Our own Cool Crew will be there providing music. Food, awards and activities for the kids will also be provided. Proceeds from the event will support CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). CASA is made up of 60 volunteers who investigate, monitor, and serve as advocates in court to help abused and neglected children secure permanent placement in safe nurturing homes.

Riverbilly to Rock Steamboat Days

Steamboat Days will be held May 31-June 2nd in Des Arc, Arkansas. Entertainment will be provided both Friday and Saturday night. Friday nights opening act will be provided by The Bluz Brothers on Friday night at 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Afterwards, Riverbilly will rock the town! Saturday night Singletree will perform at 8 p.m.

A carnival will be held every night with rides for all ages.

A Poker Run at Riverfron Park will be held for riders. The cost is $25 for one hand and $15 for each additional hand.  First Bike Out is at 10 a.m. - last bike in @ 4 p.m.
